Who We Are and What We Do:

Thrive Community Lending (Thrive) is an initiative of Inspiritus and an emerging Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). Thrive is motivated by the basic belief that every individual, no matter where they are from, deserves an opportunity to thrive. Thrive exists to provide access to capital to refugees and empower them to achieve economic self-sufficiency by providing assistance with development or expansion of their own businesses.

Who We Serve:

Thrive serves refugees from around the world who have been invited to start a new life in the United States and who have resettled in Georgia. Most of the refugee entrepreneurs we serve are low-income and often can not access credit. Refugees face additional challenges like language and cultural barriers, limited or no credit history, and limited business skills and knowledge of American financial systems.

Our Products:

Thrive Community Lending currently offers two loan products to refugee entrepreneurs to help them start or strengthen their own microenterprises:

  1. Step-up micro loans of $3,500-$7,500

  2. Micro loans of $7,500-$15,000
