SUPPORT COMPANION HIGHLIGHT:

MEET TONYA AND RICHARD

Tonya and Richard Wilmot have been with Inspiritus since 2009. For the past 11 years, they have been a part of our Inspiritus Disability and Health Services Team as Support Companions. Inspiritus Support Companions are inspiring individuals who provide welcoming homes and community support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Wilmots have provided exceptional support to the individuals in their care. They welcomed Jonathan* into their home in July 2011, who was joined by Phoenix* in July 2012. Through Inspiritus’ education and guidance, the Wilmots helped Jonathan and Phoenix improve their life skills and begin to create their own individual lifelong and community goals. Every day, the Wilmots ensure that Jonathan and Phoenix’s basic needs are met, all while maintaining a 99% compliance rate with standards of care.

Tonya and Richard Wilmot always go the extra mile for Jonathan and Phoenix by making sure they have access to the best resources and opportunities to engage in their local community. On behalf of Jonathan, Phoenix, and all of Inspiritus, we thank the Wilmots for their 11 years of service.
