Refugee Summer Camp

When a child arrives in this country as a refugee – it’s an exciting but scary time in his or her life. Even though refugee children have endured some of the worst circumstances you can imagine – violence, hunger, insecurity – a new country can be very overwhelming.
That’s why we’ve developed Camp Mosaic. The day camp program is designed to be therapeutic as well as fun. Kids who have experienced great hardships at a young age get a chance to work through their fears and insecurities with others kid who are going through the same thing. We’ve thoughtfully developed the program incorporating art, dance, yoga, gardening, enriching field trips and other activities in a way that helps them deal with the challenges of adapting to a new country and helps them cope with any scars – physical or emotional – they’ve experienced in their lives.

Camp Sponsorships Opportunities:
$100 provides one week of camp for a refugee child
$300 provides three weeks of camp for a refugee child
$600 provides a whole summer session (six weeks) of camp for a refugee child
