Youth Host Homes

Inspiritus’ THRIVE! Youth Host Homes program provides supportive, short-term housing for youth ages 18-24 experiencing homelessness, with a focus on being inclusive and supportive of youth who identify as LGBTQ and youth who have aged out of foster care. The program serve as an intervention for young adults who are currently experiencing homelessness for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to family conflict, poverty, gender identity and sexual orientation. The goal of youth host homes is to provide a safe, temporary, welcoming space for up to nine months where the young person has time to repair their relationships with self-identified family or make decisions about other housing options with the support of a caring housing case manager.
