We rely on in kind donations to support our families in need and welcome newly arrived refugees to their new homes in the US. You can donate furniture and household goods for refugee apartments, food baskets for new arrivals, or clothing of all sizes to keep our clothing closet well stocked. We can arrange to pick up furniture or large donations.
Click here for a list of items needed.
Please contact us to schedule a furniture pick up or to arrange to drop off smaller household items:
Note due to the decreased number of refugee arrivals in both Atlanta and Savannah, our need for furniture items and household goods has decreased. Our staff capacity to respond to requests for furniture pick-ups has also decreased. It may take several days for our staff to respond to your email or phone call. In the meantime, please email photo(s) of the furniture items so Inspiritus can assess if they are appropriate. Thank you for your patience.

Drop off of clothing or school backpacks:
Clothing and school backpacks filled with school supplies may be dropped off at the Inspiritus Refugee Clothing Closet at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church (513 Memorial Dr, Stone Mountain, 20083) on Wednesdays from 9 am to Noon or email Melanie Johnson for other arrangements.
The LSG Clothing Closet is located on the back side of the church’s lower basement level and there is a LSG sign on the door – knock to enter as it is kept locked. A sidewalk runs from the parking lots on either side of the church to the lower level.
